No one is going to hire you for blog writing jobs and article writing jobs if you know little or nothing about writing a quality article or blog. So please, before you go any further let me give you a few quick tips that might help you get started on the right foot.
LOOK! Please don't just grab the first thing that jumps out at you. Why not put forth a concerted effort? Search and find one of the many blog writing jobs or article writing jobs that fits your style. Why write about something you know little about and care even less about? If you are trying to earn a living or supplement your existing income, why not enjoy yourself while you are at it? We have enough drudgery around without willfully adding to it. LOOK and LOOK CAREFULLY! You might dig enough to find yourself a real gold mine!
LISTEN! I don't care what kind of job you are looking for, you must listen to what your prospective employer is wanting from you. And I don't mean in one ear and out the other type listening, I mean, BE ATTENTIVE! Sure there are blog writing jobs and article writing jobs available, but you are not the only one out there who is looking for one. There is always competition and if you don't listen well, you will miss the very key word or phrase that might seal the job for you.
LEARN! Be teachable! That means don't think you know it all. I know you are probably the greatest writer since Ernest Hemingway, but guess what? I promise you that if you are not willing to learn, you are on a short, miserable, dead-end road. It doesn't matter whether you want blog writing jobs, article writing jobs or wanting to be the next president of the United States, LEARNING IS THE KEY! And please don't get me wrong, I am not talking about formal education necessarily. I am talking about learning practical ways to help you become better at what you do. We should always be striving to improve ourselves at whatever we are doing. My greatest desire is to be a better servant of the Lord Jesus Christ and I have only begun to learn what that is really all about! If you want to write, learn all you can learn about writing.
I told you just few quick tips! I sincerely believe however, if you will take the three tips: LOOK! LISTEN! And LEARN to heart, and really apply them in your life, you will be amazed at the outcome! What a difference these three words have made in my own life!
